Our Worthiness

Once a college lecturer during his lecture was holding up a 2000 rupees note asked the students, “Who would like to have this Rs.2000 note?”

All the students in the class room raised their hands up.

Then he crumpled the rupees note up then asked, “Now who wants this rupees note?” Again the whole class students raised their hands up.

Then he dropped the rupees note on the ground and stomped on it with his shoes. The note was crumpled and dirty. He picked up the note and asked the students, “Now who wants this rupees note?”

The entire students still raised their hands up.

Now the lecturer explained, “My dear students, we must learn an important lesson from this. No matter how dirty and crumpled the money is, we still wanted it because it didn’t decrease in its value. It is still worth Rs. 2000. Often, our life crumples us and grinds us into the dirt. We make worst decisions or handle such circumstance very poorly. We feel ourselves worthless. Now the lesson we learn from this is no matter what has happened or what will happen, we should never lose our value. We should not forget the value we worth!
