Break the Barricades
Once a man saw the elephants
which were tied with thin ropes, not even iron chain or cave. The elephant
could easily breakaway its bond, but it didn’t do so. The man got confused and
asked about this to the trainer.
The trainer replied saying that
when the elephants were very young he used to tie them with such rope and that
was sufficient to hold them, but the elephant even after fully grown, it had
the feeling that it cannot break its bond. The elephant yet believed that it
cannot break the rope bond, so it never tried to break its bond.
The human being also like the
elephants, hanging onto a belief that he cannot achieve something, simply
because he failed at it once before.
Failures are the steps to
success; our failures teach us something that we don’t know; we must never give
up the struggle in life.
