Result of Being Greedy & Dishonesty

Once, there was a greedy and selfish man who wanted to own whatever wealth he saw with others. He never shared his wealth with anybody.

One day he lost 50 gold coins while he was on his way. He then approached his friend and narrated this incidence. As they two were chatting, his daughter came and reported his father that she found 50 gold coins on her way to home. Father replied her that those gold coins belonged to his friend since he lost his 50 gold coins on his way. And asked her daughter to handover the gold coins to his friend.

The man as he received the gold coins from his friend’s daughter became greedy and told to his friend that actually he had lost 60 gold coins and 10 of them are missing and his daughter would have taken the missing gold coins. Hence he demanded the remaining amount from his friend. But the girl’s father refused and ridiculed him. The greedy man didn’t got the gold coins from his friend and approached the court and narrated the judge about the incidence.

The judge summoned the girl and her father and inquired. The girl said honestly that she found only 50 gold coins on her way. But the greedy man insisted that he lost 60 gold coins and the girl had taken the remaining 10 gold coins. Now the judge came to a conclusion and told the greedy man that the 50 gold coins found by the girls didn’t belong to him and those gold coins belonged to somebody else, hence the judge ordered to keep the 50 gold coins with her and whenever anybody with a complaint of losing 50 gold coins she can handover the same to him.

The judge also told the greedy man that if anyone reports of finding 60 gold coins on the way he will call him and handover the same to him. Now the greedy man again confessed the judge that actually he lost 50 gold coins only and he lied to the judge so far. But the judge just ignored him and closed the plea filed by the greedy man.

Greed & Dishonest Would Never be Fruitful Result.
