One of his prominent poems – If you merely consider a stone as god and by worshiping it with flowers while chanting Mantras, will that stone understand your problems ? Will that stone speak to you, while the god is within yourself? Will the vessel in which you cook the food ever knows the taste of the food? Like the food inside the vessel, the god is within you, and like the vessel doesn’t know the taste of food, the human being also never knows the power of god that remains within himself!
